2006년 5월 24일에 데뷔한 대한민국의 3인조 혼성그룹입니다.
They are a 3-member mixed group from Korea that debuted on May 24, 2006.
솔비, 우재, 지환으로 이루어져 있으며 솔비의 탈퇴 이후 멤버가 교체되고
It consists of Solbi, Woojae, and Jihwan, and after Solbi's departure, the members were replaced.
2010년 1월 28일 디지털 싱글 "안녕..타이푼"을 끝으로 해체를 선언했었죠.
On January 28, 2010, they announced their disbandment after the digital single "Hello.. Typhoon".
그러다가 2017년 12월 7년만에 재결합을 알리며 2018년 1월 26일에 컴백했습니다.

당시 최고 인기 혼성그룹이었던 코요태가 소속사와 불화를 겪어 이를 대체하기 위해 만든 그룹이었다고 해요.

때문에 코요태와 비슷한 점이 굉장히 많아 타이푼 만의 독자적인 색을 만들지 못했다고 하죠.
